Engineered by nature
One piece of latex. No springs.
Look at the bare core and you'll see the pinholes left by the mould. They run the whole way through, which is why a slab this size still breathes — and why it springs back instead of packing down.

Open-cell latex, moulded as one slab: air lives inside the material, so it stays light for its size and never feels dense.

Tapping the tree
Latex is tapped from Hevea rubber trees on Sri Lankan plantations.
Moulding
Foamed latex goes into the pin-core moulds — that's where its open structure comes from.
Curing
Steam sets it into one resilient piece. Out of the mould, it's finished — nothing is added afterwards.
